History and Tradition
1936
Monviso was established in Turin, developing artisan products with the addition of gluten, especially suited to the diets of children and diabetics.
Late 50s
The Company studied a range of high-protein products and low-salt products, sold in pharmacies and specialised shops.
1972
This year witnessed the passage from artisan to industrial production. Monviso products were no longer promoted and perceived as strictly dietetic and functional.
Mid-80s
The Company obtained a leading position in the non-dietetic food segment, as confirmed by the extraordinary success of the famous Biscotto Salute.
Mid-90s
The Panmonviso range was born, becoming leader in the production of oven-baked products, comprising rusks, dietetic products, bread substitutes and snacks.
2015
Monviso bought Biscotteria Tonon, a historical company from Verona, specialised in the production of a variety of patisserie-style biscuits.
2018
Monviso bought Grissinificio Europa, a well-known company from Cuneo, specialised in the production of bread sticks and bakery products.
2022
The company carries out a restyling of the Monviso brand by renewing the logo and packaging with the aim of rejuvenating the brand and its consumers and improving the alignment between graphics and brand values.
